Assignment #1: Looking at Light

For some, standing in the light and having someone stare at you may be awkward but others may like to get that attention. Today we had the chance to observe our fellow classmates under a skylight and admire how the light reflected off of their faces. We also noticed how the light was absorbed by the color of their attire and how it bounced back and forth with what they were wearing. A couple of friends wearing white shirts seem to blend in with the light since their shirts absorbed in most of the light. In the contrary, another couple of classmates wearing black clothes had different results. The black shirts absorbed in the light which drew the attention towards their face. What I discovered in this small project is that the effects of the light depend on what you wear or what you take a photo off.
